The New Kid in Town

This past Wednesday, a Walmart opened near my apartment. Now, I usually fancy myself as a Target girl; but let me tell you, this location is sure going to be convenient. As I was sitting at my desk last night working on homework, I came to a point where I needed to print some information. I had two options: My normal routine, go to my office at 8:30pm, where it is big, dark and scary; or, I could go to the new Walmart (Just a mile down the road) and purchase a printer. Since I considered myself to be up for an adventure, I chose Walmart.

And now, the morning after, I can't wait to go back. As I entered the store, I was greeted with a map of the store, a friendly smile and a handshake welcoming me to Walmart. As I proceeded through the store, I was greeted by 5 sales associates who asked if I needed assistance. When I had decided which printer to buy, I even had an associate offer to carry my printer to the register. Oh, I hope the service does not change...PLEASE don't change. A girl could get used to this...

My first purchase in the new store.

Walmart, welcome to the neighborhood!

This, is real. I promise.

I was flipping through the channels this afternoon, when a commercial caught my attention. "This has to be a Saturday Night Live skit," I thought to myself. As the commercial proceeded, I could not believe my eyes and ears when I realized, this was real...

How could I have missed this?

Can you imagine how warm and relaxed this would make you feel?
I can picture myself right now, sitting at my desk, working on homework...

There are even zippered hatches for when "Duty Calls." Just when I was led to
believe they had thought of everything, I was proven wrong...

The perfect accessory for any tailgate. Genus!

Unfortunately, reality hit right before I was about to pick up
the phone... Guess I will not be purchasing a Forever Lazy after all; or, it may
 just become my little secret.

Stay Warm!

WARNING: Jealousy May Arise.

Your first thought might be jealously; but unfortunately, I did
not find Ryan under my Christmas tree this year.

However, this was. Still jealous? Fancy actually received it
during a Dirty Santa gift exchange, and thought i might be able to put it to use.
Little did she know, I have always wanted my very own Handy Stitch!

Not for clothes, or curtains...but for crafts! This weekend, I chose to break the
Handy Stitch out of the box, and put it to good use - Homemade Birthday Cards.

My Final Day in 2011

Greetings from Lufkin, Texas!

Thanks to Lufkin Industries, Fancy and I were
introduced to Rudolph the Red Nose Pumping Unit.

Dad, Fancy and I ate lunch at Chili's.

Fancy and I then indulged in a Peppermint
Chocolate Chip Milkshake from Chick-Fil-A.

In less than two days, I read the first two books in the
Hunger Games series. (LOVE!) Therefore, I needed to
buy the final one for my journey home.

While enjoying Dad's Christmas Gift (Auburn Chairs),
Fancy and I watched Auburn beat Virginia
in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. WAR EAGLE!

Dad cooked us his infamous Burger Bundles, along with stuffed tomatoes and corn on the cob.

Tucker had a difficult time keeping
his eyes open till midnight.

Finally, we toasted to less of us
in the New Year. (Weight that is.)
